About Us

Emily

My name is Emily but everyone knows me as “Locky”. I'm a busy mummy and wife, born and raised in Kent and now living in Cippenham, Slough. I am a keen runner, regularly taking part in half-marathons, I've also completed the Brighton Marathon and Bournemouth Marathon with other EL Fitness members. I also enjoy obstacle course racing competing in Tough Guy and the Nuts challenge. I recently joined the Ultra marathon crew and completed 60km and 1680 reps in under 8 hours.

My biggest buzz comes from helping people achieve their goals, gain confidence, and benefit mind, body and soul from working out, especially outdoors. I have a positive outlook on life and look forward to motivating and inspiring you to be your best. We’ve got this!

Sam

I’m Samantha, Sam for short, born and raised in the North East but now living in Cippenham with my family.  I’m a proud wife and mummy and I qualified as a level 3 PT at the beginning of this year.  I also have qualifications in:

  • UK Athletics qualified run leader,
  • TRX suspension training
  • HIITstep instructor
  • Boxercise instructor
  • Nutrition for performance.
  • I'm first aid qualified, have a full DBS check and have my safeguarding for children.

I'm a huge advocate for using exercise to improve mental as well as physical health as it has done for me.  The growth that we see in people is unbelievable, I love seeing clients get the same health benefits from exercising as I’ve seen in myself. My aim is to encourage people to make exercise and fitness something to enjoy as part of a healthy lifestyle, the focus should be on how you feel rather than how you look. Exercising isn’t just about running for miles, burning calories, getting a good time, its all about community, lifting each other up and supporting each other to reach personal goals.  If people feel good about themselves, confidence grows and that shines through in everything they do.
